I could not concentrate at all. All I could think about was Will and the way he touched me... kissed me... made my body burn for him. I tried to focus on the pages in front of me as Estella insisted on studying more of Atla’s history, but I couldn’t. Will was in the room with us, “watching” over me, but it was clear he kept glancing at me.
Every time our eyes met, I couldn’t help but smile, as if we shared a naughty little secret! I knew Estella was growing annoyed at how distracted I seemed, but I couldn’t help it. He was just... perfect! I had never felt this way. I had never felt so... alive! So happy.
My heart felt twice its size, and every time we managed to steal a moment alone, we would sneak off somewhere just to get one stolen kiss, if that was all time would allow.
