Sariel
Out of darkness, he was summoned, and out of darkness he sensed her. But of course, she would not be Angelique in this life. No, she never would be Angelique ever again. He could feel the magic building in the circle of trees as the young couple danced around a big bonfire. The young woman was heavily pregnant, and yes, he sensed that this child was, indeed, a girl. But more importantly, he sensed that this child was his Angelique about to be born again into the world.
"Oh, come to us, oh demon King," The young woman's boyfriend sang. Sariel had to admit that the boy could sing in a raspy rock n'roll kind of voice. "Come before us, and lift this burden upon us, and let us be free."
Well, let's get this show on the road, Sariel thought with some amusement. He materialized, and the young couple looked both scared and awestruck at the same time. He extended his black wings, a relic from when he was an angel of light, of course.
"You summoned me?" He asked.
The young man, who had bleach blonde spiky hair seemed to get over his fright, and said, "My girl and I got ourselves in a family way one drunken night, and we need your help getting rid of it."
The pregnant girl touched one of Sariel's black wings, and she fell to her knees before him. "Holy s**t, Zack. He's like the real deal! I don't want this kid, like my man said. Is there any way you could do us a solid and remove this mouth to feed?"
Sariel lifted her chin to meet his starry black eyes. He knew that his true eyes unnerved most mortals, and this teen girl was no exception. She cowered before him, and even tried to grovel before him, which was absolutely sickening in his opinion.
"I do no favors for the likes of irresponsible children like yourselves," Sariel said with distaste. "However, your child will prove to be most useful to me once she comes of age. Here is the bargain, children: your daughter's soul belongs to me, but in return, neither of you will live long enough to be free of your burden as you put it. Also, the birth will be so traumatic that you will never bear another child again from your diseased womb."
"We agree," The boyfriend agreed, as well as the girlfriend. They shed their blood upon the ground sealing the blood pact.
