91 Saxon I stand near the edge of the dance floor, waiting for Ryen. My eyes sweep the room the whole time, hoping to spot Kerina. Ryen finally makes his way over to me. ‘Are you right, twinkle-toes? We’ve got more important things than dancing to worry about.’ ‘Are you saying I should have refused the Governess a dance? That wouldn’t have been suspicious at all.
