61 Saxon I wander the corridors aimlessly. My head swarms with all the new information. One thing is certain, Rudolph is not the man I thought he was. The man has a whole other life that I knew nothing about. Rudolph claims Manny doesn’t know about any of this, but is that the truth? Manny kept our parents’ death a secret at Rudolph’s command. What else has my brother stayed silent about? I come to the end of the corridor, where a ladder leads upward. I climb the ladder for several metres, unsure where it will take me. It’s difficult to climb, with little room to bend my legs or arms.
