14 Kerina ‘Good morning, Kerina. How did you sleep?’ Constance tugs the curtains all the way open. Sunlight streams in, brightening the room. I shield my eyes from the morning glare. ‘I slept some. It just wasn’t very restful.’ Constance smiles. ‘Keep trying. It’s going to get better.’ I want to believe Constance but am unsure of the truth to her words.
