chapter 5: training part 3

After the candidates went to fight the Metaphors, they encountered massive creatures with inscrutable intentions. The Metaphors uttered a phrase, "kona…Sai…koma," which meant "praise the king" and also translated to "let's go and eat" in Hausa language. Now, the candidates were ready to fight the creatures that had killed their brothers and citizens. Meanwhile, in high command:

“Sir, can we send the candidates?”

“No, don’t do that. The candidates have never fought Metaphors before.”

“Then, what are we going to do?”

“Tell the residents to evacuate and inform the Asian and world governments about the rumbling.”

When the World Government learned that the Land of Asia was facing the rumbling, they issued a red alert, urging residents to evacuate. Meanwhile, as the Metaphors approached Indian territory, the high command ordered an attack. Inder, fueled by anger, sprinted towards the impending confrontation.

"He's quite the badass," remarked one candidate to another.

"Yeah, he's like a monster."

"Isn't he the one who aced the written exam?"

"Yes, he's the same guy with an IQ of 250."

But then, Inder killed a Metaphor in one blow. The only way to kill Metaphors was to sever their necks, leaving everyone shocked. However, the Metaphors started running towards the walls. Some of them were moving at light speed. One of them collided with the wall, weakening its structure. Inder was trying to catch up, but he failed. One of the speedy Metaphors again collided with the wall, causing casualties among the candidates.

“Help me! My parents are blind. Please, help!” cried out one of the candidates.

Shusheela and Priya attempted to save the individual but tragically failed. As the situation grew dire, Inder resolved to protect his sister at all costs.

“I need to save my sister,” he thought determinedly.

After an arduous journey, Inder reached the gates, only to witness scenes of panic and devastation. Spotting his sister engaged in battle, he devised a plan. Utilizing a rope, he incapacitated a Metaphor, allowing him to engage in combat. Amidst the struggle, a singular thought consumed him:

“If we fail, I cannot protect my sister.”

However, his focus wavered, resulting in a grievous injury. In a surprising turn of events, he inadvertently consumed the blood of a Metaphor, granting him unforeseen abilities. Despite the chaos, the rumbling eventually subsided, albeit with significant losses.

In the aftermath, Inder discovered that he had become a Metaphor shifter, a formidable asset sought after by the Asian government. Embracing his newfound identity, he embarked on a new journey as Agent IQ, unaware of the challenges that lay ahead.
