I exited the principal's office before glancing at my phone, which I'm surprised is still in my pocket. To say that I'm embarrassed about my wild and reckless act would be an understatement. I hurt someone; I inflicted pain on someone else because I was angry and upset, because I couldn't control my feelings. That's everything that my father went against. And it's even worse because it was about him, I fought fire with fire, and it's true; you only get burned. I shoved the thoughts to the back of my head as I walked towards the bathroom, grateful that the hallways were empty.
