I broke almost all of the rules of the road as I raced down the road in the direction of Jasmine's house. I was within approximately 10 minutes' walking distance. I simply prayed that I would be able to get there on time.
I was in a hurry, so I dialed her number immediately. After three rings, she finally picked up the phone.
“Hello?”
“Jasmine! I told you that you had to leave the area immediately.
“What?”
"Take heed of what I say. You have to escape out of the house as quickly as you can after gathering any belongings you can and packing them. Get in your car and drive to my house; no one will find you there.
“Charles? What exactly are you going on about?
“Jasmine! Just get it done. They are on their way! Do you grasp the concept! They are on their way!"
