Ted walked me through the development of the construction project, and I was quite impressed with what I saw. In all honesty, we were approximately two weeks ahead of schedule. This was going to save me a ton of money when it came to the building charges. Because of the way I conducted business, it was only natural for me to pay Ted the complete purchase price plus an additional amount. But in the grand scheme of things, it was still very likely going to cut into the bottom line. That was always something that made me glad to facilitate.
I complimented my friend by saying, "Excellent work."
"So, what are your plans for the weekend? How about a round of golf?"
“Business?”
The laughter of Ted "Wow, are you seriously unable of coming up with anything else?"
