The past reveled

The Book

Sarah woke up and started to think about last night, about the mysterious sphere that fell from the sky. She didn"t understand from where actually it came and why the text were written in English .

She went near her cupboard and with deep breath opened it . She took the sphere and opened it, took out the book and left the pendent in the sphere. she walked near her bed , eyes on the book. Then suddenly her leg stuck in the carpet on the floor and fell on the bed. She made herself comfortable in the bed and started to read the Book. The Book appeared very old . Its color of the cover was Brown and inside the pages were of coffee color. She thought twice before opening the book but eventually she opened it. The first word written was "Claire " . The writing was beautiful and in cursive writing . " ....... Hmmm........So it belong to someone name Claire or the book name is Claire. lets read it" Sarah said to herself . She then turned to second page. It appeared like a letter to someone .

" Dear Daughter,

I know you will be 25 when you will get this book. I don"t know what your name will be on earth but the name that we gave you was Claire. I know this would the shocking for you to know that you were not born on earth , you are not of earth. You belong to planet " Adonis ". Yes you are my daughter."

After reading these lines she was shocked, surprised, afraid and scared. Her heartbeat raised and starting to breath heavily. She kept the book aside . Just then someone knock the door of her bedroom.

" It must be Nita. "Sarah thought

She kept the book back to the cupboard and opened the door.

" What are you doing?" Nita said with little wired face expression.

"Nothing just cleaning my room" sarah replied.

" So today is no office . Would you like to go to shopping with me"

"No , yesterday was too tiring and their are work I need to do"

"Come on ....... you work a lot , sometime we need some relaxation from work and Sunday is just for that not work"

" I am really tired today. Some other day for sure. "

" Ok but listen I am going out If you need anything just call me"

" Ok"

Nita gone to market just after the conversation ended.

Sarah was terrified and scared . The letters written on them made her stunned or say she was in a state of shock. She wanted to read more but could not bind the courage to do that. She started to work the unfinished job of her office. She was so terrified that her fingers were trembling while typing on her laptop. She tried to keep her mind occupy so that she could not think about it . But she could not.

The phone rang , it was Erik on line ,

"Hey , Are you free now"Erik asked.

" Yup "sarah replied

" Come downstairs "

" What you are here?"

" Yes and before you ask me what am I doing here , I am here to meet you and take you for lunch "

"What time is it"

"Its 2:00 o"clock madame"

"hmm"

"come on I wont hear no"

"ok, I am coming in 5 minutes "

She ended the call .

"It is better to go with him than stay here" Sarah thought.

She got up from her bed and get ready to go on lunch with him . She dressed a plain but beautiful black dress . she stare the cupboard where she kept the book back and then left the apartment.
