It took us a little over a day and a half to reach the border of Mir and another half day to drive over the uneven terrain until we couldn’t take the vehicles any further due to how rocky and cut-up the ground was.
We had taken two vehicles otherwise it would have been a tight squeeze with the six of us. I had somehow managed to convince Finn to drive with the Lycans. I wasn’t sure I could sit in an enclosed space with Leneve’s scent suffocating me. There was no way I would have been able to concentrate or think. She did that – fogged my brain.
I knew why. She had told me, but I didn’t want to go down that road again. Once was enough and it’s not as if having a mate panned out for me before. No thank you. No matter how beautiful and tempting I was over all that sh*t.
