Emery continue thinking hardly as she walk home alone after Nova left angrily,, if she agree to this proposal, her life will become better right?? She can help her brothers also. She really want them to study but thinking about getting married is making her mad,,she's going to get married to an old man ,,,
She suddenly made up her mind to accept her fate so she can give her family a better life. Things have become harder after the death of her father, he promised to send all his children to school but life was unfair to take him away too soon
She finally got home, she went into the kitchen and drank a cup of water before going into her mother's room. The woman was sitting with her hand resting on her cheek,,Emery knew she was thinking again,she want the best for her children but what can she do if there's is no helper??
" Mom " She called and sat beside her
" You're back?? So soon "
" Something happened and Nova left ,,so I don't have a choice than to come home " She explained
" Nova and her anger issue,I hope she change " Her mother said
Emery chuckled a little
" Mom,,,,am going to get married " she dropped the shell and her mom faced her looking confused
" You're doing what??? Look Emery,, am not forcing you to do something against your will okay?? You don't have to agree just because,,, "
" No mom,,I've made up my mind. I know our life will become much better if I get married. I want to do it for us mom,,,,it's my decision " She said
" Oh,,my daughter " Her mother hugged her tightly to herself.

Emery breath out starring at the stars ,,,she suddenly wish she can just be the star instead of human.
" You're so beautiful up there,,, you're close to God,,, and you are a great light. I wish am a star " She said with a smile
" You're a star sis,,," Mason said sitting beside her
" How??" She asked
" You just made a decision,,, not for your own good,,but you want to do it for your family. Are you not a star right now??" Mason smiled
" You think so??" She asked
" I don't think so,,I know so. And I promise not to disappoint you sis " He said and hugged her.
" I can't believe I won't be seeing you any longer,, am going to miss you so much " she cried
" I will miss you most,,,,you know brother cares about you so much " He smiled and kissed her hair

Three Days Later .
" You won't regret your decision,, I promise " The queen said to Emery's mom who was already in tears
" I hope you take care of my daughter,,,, please " She said
" I will,,,I will do my best " The queen said
" Mom " Emery hugged her mother tightly and then her two brothers who also will be leaving the country in two days
How will her mother cope alone???
" Don't worry Daughter,,,one of my maid is going to stay here from now and take care of your mom so you don't have to worry too much " The queen said
" Thank you so much,," Emery said
She finally walked out with the queen empty handed,, she had insisted that she won't need anything since everything will be new when she gets to the palace.
" Are you nervous?? " The Queen asked
" I can't denial that my queen " She replied
" You can call me mother from now ,,,you're getting married to my son " She smiled and Emery nodded

They finally drove into the palace,,the guards ran to them and opened the car.
" You're welcome my queen " They bowed
Emery on the other hand was too amazed by the building in front of her. Is she really going to live here from now? This is a dream right??
" You should greet her too ,,,she's going to become your queen soon " The head queen said (Queen Teresa is her name if you are wondering )
" My lady,,you're welcome " They bowed to Emery and she seem shocked to respond
No one have ever called her that,, or even bow for her
" You will get used to it soon " Queen Teresa said and they went in
Emery keep on looking around but she suddenly decided to stop so it wont look like she's some gold digger.
" You're welcome my queen " This time,,it's the maids
They are so many,, but they are putting on the same ,,maybe uniform???
" Thank you,,, so this is Emery,,,and make sure you give her the respect she deserves. She's Arnold's fiancee " The queen introduced her and the maids seems shocked but still bowed anyway.
" I want two maids who will serve her from now,,,,,,and she will be choosing for herself, so Daughter,,, these are the maids. Not all but some of them are busy right now. I want you to choose two from them "
" I don't need a maid " She replied feeling hot already
" You're becoming the queen soon,,get used to this life. Come on " Queen Teresa smiled
" Okay" Emery said and turned to the maids,,her eyes traveled through all. She doesn't seem to know what to do but she don't have a choice.
Her eyes suddenly caught with one,,blonde hair ,blue eyes ,,,

She continue to check them out and she pointed at another one.
Black curly hair ,,she look cute also.
" Okay,,,they are at your service now,they will do everything you want " The queen said and walked away
" Can you guys just introduce yourselves?? Emery asked
" Am Kara " The Blonde one said
" Riley " The one with The black curly hair said
" Nice meeting you,,I hope we get along well " she said and smiled
" Yes my lady,,,we will show you to your room " Kara said

They walked in front while she followed since she doesn't know anywhere.
They finally opened a room and she gasped,,this room is bigger than her whole house to be honest,,,
" Am I staying here alone ??' She asked
" Yes my lady ,,it's all yours " Kara said as they entered
" The queen got a lot of clothes for you ,,,they are right here in the wardrobe ,,she seems to like you a lot ,,she got jewelries of different types,shoes ,,,and everything you will need. " Riley said with a smile
" Am thankful,,,, " She smiled
" We will prepare your bath " They said and went into another part of the room she think it's the bathroom. She sighed still starring at the room.
It's amazing but she's missing her mother already
Minutes later ,the Maids came out
" It's all done ,,you can come have your bath "
" Are you also going to do that?? " she asked when they didn't make any attempt to leave the room
" Yes my lady " They replied with a bow
" This is weird " she muttered
Kara moved closer to her and begin to take off her clothes,, she became shy all of a sudden
" We are ladies also,, don't be shy " Riley said and she nodded
No one have ever seen her nakedness aside her mother and here she is in front of the maids ,,,it's a good thing they are the only one who will be seeing her this way.
They took her into the bathroom,, as she had expected, it look so big and expensive. She entered the bathtub and the maids started their work.
From her hair,,they washed it and then her body
" I like your skin my lady,,it's really soft " Kara spoke up
" Thanks " Emery replied with her eyes closed ,,she was really enjoying the bath.
" We are done,,,we are going to dry your hair right now "
She nodded ,,by this time she was already feeling sleepy
It's not her fault anyway,,they are just too good.
They dried her hair and then arranged it nicely ,,,they opened the wardrobe and asked her to choose a dress
" Just bring one,,," she said
" This one will look great on you my lady " Riley said showing her a short but beautiful red gown
" It's beautiful " She said
They helped her put it on ,,,after they are done,, she faced the mirror and gasped at her new look.
" Am I this beautiful?? " she asked
" Of course my lady,, you're beautiful " Kara smiled
" And your hair is so long also "
" Thanks " She said still starring at herself.
" We will leave you to rest for now " They said and went out
Just what she wanted,, she immediately jumped on the bed and slept off......
