The whole mansion was dead silent. Not a single sound except the lewd, breathless moans of the Omega and the deep grunts of the Lycan slamming into her like he didn’t know what mercy was.

She’d already gone limp under me. Her body shaking, twitching with overstimulation, barely able to breathe properly anymore. Two straight hours and he was still going, as if he’d just started.

But that’s what he was. A True Blood Alpha. Not just any Alpha. The kind that only gets born once in a generation, maybe less. Thirty years old, built like a god, cursed like a monster.

And when he f****d, it wasn’t for love. It was just to feel something. Anything.

His length? Yeah, no joke. The kind that made Omegas beg, cry, and pass out. And this one whoever she was, she wouldn’t even remember her own name once he was done.

He didn’t believe in mates anymore. Not for him. He believed in control. In power. In war. In s*x that ended with him breathless and her unconscious. That was his routine. His coping. His only escape.

Tonight was no different. He looked down at the Omega passed out under him, her legs trembling and soaked. She had no idea who he was beyond the rumors. She probably came here thinking she’d get knocked up by the most powerful Alpha in the territory.

But no child was growing inside her. Not now. Not ever. He pulled out slowly, his breath steady, body still hard. He didn't even finish. Didn't care to. What was the point?

His chest rose and fell, and for a moment, he just stood there, staring at her blank face. Nothing. No spark. No emotion. Just emptiness. He grabbed a towel, wiped the sweat off his arms, and walked toward the massive glass wall of the mansion. Outside, the moon was full. Glowing like it always did when the ache inside him got worse.

And deep down, even if he never admitted it out loud. He was tired.

He went out of the room and made his way towards his office upstairs where his beta secretary was waiting for him.

"Alpha, we got an invitation from the Silver Moon Pack. Their Luna's pregnant and they're celebrating the occasion after two days, wants your presence and blessings for their upcoming pup. " Alex said asap, not wanting to piss the alpha.

" Pregnant, " the word seems so foreign to Lycan, he's good friends with the alpha of Silver Moon Pack's leader and is really happy for him but what about him?

why is the moon goddess so cruel to him?

Keeping aside his thoughts he nodded and told Alex to prepare everything for his departure and get busy with his work and Alex made his way out of office.
