NATALIA
I walked out of school with a dull headache. Thanks to that bird brain, Elizabeth Castillo, I’d had to fix the small bruise on my forehead from her assault with concealer. Seriously, that girl was out to get me. I knew it. I swung my purse in irritation as I walked down the hallway.
“What did your Dad say about the hotel in Cayo?” Tiffany inquired. Her hair was up in a ponytail and the long, silky black strands flipped from side to side as we moved.
“Oh, you know him. He doesn’t care how much it costs.” I said breezily. “We got it.”
Tiffany froze, her jaw dropping in excitement. “Are you saying what I think you’re saying?”
“We got the pent house.” I glanced up as if it were no big deal. Tiffany laughed and slung her arm over my shoulder.
