Over the next few weeks, Jessie’s life settled into a routine. She spent her days at school, her afternoons skating, and any time she had left with her friends. And that included Cameron.
Since the evening of the Spring Sleigh Ride, their friendship seemed different. There were times Cameron looked at her a certain way and she became giddy. Her heart would race, her palms would sweat, and every thought would fly from her head. Those were the times she would stare at his lips, wondering what they would feel like if they touched hers.
