Simmy finally paid her check and then left Keetley for Park City. She was still trying to process the nagging thoughts that were pulling her in several directions. After arriving home, she decided to take a stroll down Main Street, a thoroughfare so quaint and charming that the walk always lifted her spirits. Suddenly she found herself in front of Main Street Bistro. In actuality, she hadn’t consciously set out for the restaurant, and yet she had been pulled by a dark and oppressive feeling against which she felt powerless.
