The café next to the new veterinary clinic in Keetley made the best peach cobbler in the world in the opinion of Simmy's highly developed taste buds. She made a note to herself to tell Lefty and Spratt to come on over and taste it so they could duplicate the pastry for Flaky Bea's.
Every day, Lefty's bakery served a high volume of customers and was a popular place for skiers to wake up with steaming coffee or hot chocolate and a freshly made pastry before taking to the slopes on an early morning run. The bakery was usually open until noon when the lunch crowd started pouring into Schuss, which was as popular with skiers as ever. Lefty was a brilliant businessman who constantly changed the menu with Spratt's eager and savvy advice.
