Keetley has been reabsorbed into the universe like a vapor, yet I am still here. I’m still writing, too, just as I did as a kid. I often sit by the window and think about Keetley, a town as transitory as my memories. I was recently diagnosed with early memory loss, but I can never seem to remember the name of the disease I have. Naturally, whenever I say that aloud, anyone within earshot thinks I'm joking, but it happens to be true. And although I still love to tease, and I still have a salty mouth, I have expansive holes in my memory bucket. It’s all very annoying.
