Sakina It had been another day of chasing ghosts. We’d find wolf tracks that would slowly disappear. I walked out of the palace wearily, drained from worry and exhaustion. Atari and I had fought viciously today. It was my doing. Unable to think about anything but Lucien, I had taken out my fears and frustrations upon him and it wasn’t right. As I stepped out of the palace, I saw him standing in the gardens. His light eyes fixed on me and he walked towards me. Goddess, he was beautiful.
