I woke up in Sakina’s bed. She was already awake, practising Yuj on the floor as I stretched out my body on her bed. Noticing I was awake, she stood and smiled down at me.
“I know you’re always finding excuses to lie with me, Panda, but I’m honestly alright,” she said, grinning.
“You caught me,” I replied, grinning up at her. “Any excuse to be close to that sexy body.”
As I said it, I grabbed her from around the waist and yanked her back down to the bed. She fell onto me, laughing as I lay behind her, curling my arm around her and holding her back against my chest.
“What would Kai say?” she chided.
“He’d be very upset that we didn’t let him watch,” I murmured, sleepily.
“You’re impossible,” she snorted.
We lay like that for a few moments, laughing together.
