Sakina As I headed to the dungeons, Fibi intercepted me.  “Are you going to see Masi, General?” she asked. I nodded.  “I will accompany you,” she declared.  “And I will be grateful for it,” I replied.  We touched our fists to our chests and walked down together.  Only the royal family and Conin knew that she was down here, along with Fibi and Evet. They had taken it in turns to bring her food and a bucket and sponge to bathe. I had not yet visited her, unable to look her in the eye. I was grateful to have Fibi with me.
