Wrapped Up Peering out the window, Elliot Paine dismayed at the sight of snowflakes drifting lazily down. He’d been hoping the storm would hold off a touch longer. The weatherman had been preaching more than a foot for quite a few days now, definitely enough to qualify getting snowed in; which Elliot was perfectly fine with. As long as he wasn’t stuck alone. Biting down on his bottom lip, he checked his watch, well aware his lover was on the road at that precise moment. But if the storm picked up, Elliot would be spending the next day or two entertaining himself. And most depressing, his plans for the evening would be ultimately ruined. He turned away from the window. The best course of action was to stick to his plan, make sure his mind didn’t have time to wander. Or he’d be overwhelmed
