“Geoff?!” Pauleen called my name in a high-pitched voice when she saw me at the lounge area of the airport. I unenergetically turned to her, “Wh-What are you doing here, hmm? Oh... I see. Where are they? You really bothered to follow me here at the airport, huh?” She stood up straight and glanced around the place.
I slightly clenched my teeth when I realized who she was referring to.
She’s probably expecting that I’m with those bunch of liars, huh?
I wasn’t even expecting that Pauleen would still be here and catch me here in the airport.
“Come on, Geoff. Where are they? I already know you, huh. I am about to go inside because my flight is already in 10 minutes. Where is Tamara and the others now? I bet she felt guilty because we did not see each other this morning,”
