“Geoff…” I whispered his name while we were all seated outside. Chloe seemed to have heard what my mouth spurted so she tried to follow the direction of my gaze. And now, Geoff is really taking his steps closer to us.
I also sensed Nikko following our gazes. Geoff and Nikko were staring at each for a few seconds before my husband rolls his eyes back at me.
Geoff’s grim expression sent chill down to my spine. I could almost feel myself swallowing a lot of times because of my anxiety. I don’t know why but…somehow…I can sense his unwavering annoyance and anger all directed to our direction. Or was I only dreaming or imagining?
