The only person I hated more than Ruiz was Lorenzo. Matter of fact, my level of hatred was at the same level for both of them.
At least, Ruiz tried to spare my life but Lorenzo didn’t hesitate to fire a shot at me. If Ruiz hadn’t stopped him, I would be dead by now.
The irritation on my face was evident when I saw him in the living room as I went downstairs. “Where is Ruiz?” He asked as he saw me descend from the stairs.
I twisted my face in disgust. “How am I supposed to know?” My voice was laced with anger and disdain. I was already in a bad mood, seeing his face just made everything worse.
