“What in the HELL is going on here?” Steel boomed, his Alpha aura slamming into the room like a shockwave.
Angel snapped into defense mode, spine straight, chin lifted.
“If you were actually around,” she shot back, “you’d know Lucian is my fated mate.”
Steel’s eyes locked on Lucian, burning. “Fated mate? I don’t believe it. You were meant for bigger things, girl, not to spend your life tied to a weak Alpha. We are the strong.”
