“Shall we?” he asked with a smirk on his lips. Samantha looked bewildered as her arm tentatively snaked it around his as they walked to where his car was. He hadn’t had the pleasure to meet her parents and she did not even introduce him to them. He didn’t mind because he didn’t care. He opened the car door for her and she slid herself inside without a word. He went inside and drove them quietly to their high school.
