Liam knew that his brother Owen didnt call him out of loyalty. He did it because they were close. Ever since Liams heart was shattered by Janets marriage to Everette, Owen always gave Liam info on the Coveingtons if he had any. This time was no different. Owen was overly protective of his younger brother and would do just about anything for him. Tonight he unknowingly gave him the knowledge and idea of how to get even with Janet for her betrayel. She was supposed to be his wife, but instead allowed herself to be soiled by Everette. A different Earth witch that was the son of the Offensive Captain at the time. Nothing compared to being the Coven leaders son like he was at Windbreak.

After learning about the coven heart he had 1hr to get to Tiger Clan territory and prepare an attack to steal what was his. He just barely managed to get the explosives set amd timed when they started to approach the bridge. After the explosion Liams team used the noise and disorientation of the unsusoecting victims to their advantage. While they were recovering the small team of 3 raided the SUV for the safe he knew had to be there. They used magic to keep speed up the process and once they found the coven heart and felt the power radiating off it he left. Not before Liam saw his brother pinned in the SUV by a metal piece of guardrail. His heart ached, but he couldnt stop to help right now. He had to get away before the brother of that girl noticed him. In a matter of 10 min the operation was a success and he was on his way home with the ancient magic he was confident would make him a God over the whole world.

Shortly after Owen was out of surgery and was awake in his hospital room he was immediatly surrounded by police and handcuffed to the bed to stop the useage of his hands. As he lay there thinking about what he saw all he could think was, Why? Why would his brother do this? He never thought Liam was capable of this kind of vuolence. Let alone being able to leave his brother to die.It was evident he really didnt know gis brother the way he thought, because had he known this would be the result he never would have said anything to him. Owen closed his eyes in shame and regret and tears started to ooze down his cheeks as the officers were tild he was available for questions.

Ashton came first and Owen couldnt look at him. "So its true, you called Liam?" Owen could only nod

"I thought you agreed to cut him off. His unhealthy obsession with the Coveingtons nearly killed you and my fiance!" Ashton was livid.

"I told you he would be the death of you and now look where you are? Arrested and most likely going to jail for conspiracy to commit murder!"

"I didnt know he woyld do this!" Owen shouted back

"I had no idea he was that far gone. I never meant for any of this to happen."

"I believe you. The damage was minor, we can rebuild the bridge, unfortunatly we cant bring back Eddie. He died on impact."

"I am pretty sure he only came to steal the coven heart. It has ancient magic in it. If he has it and can bond to it before Elspeth he will end up becoming more powerful than any of us. He wants revenge on Janet." Owen was becoming weak and exauhsted from talking. He couldnt stay awake any longer and the drugs made it hard to fight to stay awake.

"Rest Owen we will take care of this." Ashton looked at the officers and waived them away. He was confident Owen wouldnt run or try anything stupid.

As Ashton left the room he noticed Elspeth and Levi being discharged. They had decided to go back in a taxi to gather Elspeths belongings.

"Do you want an escort?"

"No thanks we will be right back. Just ensure my sister and I have a place to resr when we get back this wont take us long." Levi replied tiredly.

" We can do that. Be safe Levi."

Ashton waived at the pair as they left sending aprayer to the Gods that they would remain safe.

Upon reaching the wreckage Elspeth couldnt believe she didnt see how much of a mess it made. she gathered her suit case even more grateful that she had nothing to pack. At least there wasnt a lot to ruin.

Suddenly she heard an excited gasp from her brother.

"What is it Levi?"

"It Worked!!" Was all he could shout. As Elspeth aproached she saw Levi cradling the clay pot loveingly.

"Is that the coven heart?"

"Yes!"

"But...how....I dont understand?"

Levi handed her the note that was taped to the bottom of the pot. It was in his handwritting. "I was planning on you finding out AFTER I left, but I think current circumstances indicate now is fine." Elspeth read the note shocked.

"Its real?"

"Yes, I made a decoy, plus another decoy on top of that with just enough coven blood it could pass the tests. I warded it from evil and put it in the secret compartment of the safe holding the fake. That way if anything DID happen they would feel the power but not find out till later it was fleeting." Levi looked proud of himself for this.

Suddenly Elspeth knew what she had to do.

"We need to head back to Tiger Clan now!" Levi frowned in concern but didnt argue. The grabbed everything and had the driver bring them back to the Clan. As Elspeth got out of the taxi she was still wearing the robe that was given to her by Ashtons Grandfather at the hospital.

"Welcome back dear we are glad you are safe." Grandfather said to Elspeth.

"Thank you sir, but we need to do something tonight. It involves the whole clan."

Ashton frowned in concern. "Is everything ok?"

"It is now, but we must do this to secure our family and future coven mebers. I need us to seal the bond." She sliced her palm and reached for Ashtons and sliced his and Grandfathers. She then pressed her palm to Grandfathers and Ashtons murmuring the same spell as the Purple Jasper pendant glowed brightly in the night sky and full moon presence

"With the Gods and the Godesses blessing return my future family to there rightful glory and seal our bonds to serve you." she whispered.

With that both Grandfather and Ashton roared in suprise and as quickly as she had performed the unlocking spell two gorgeous White and Black Bengal tigers were staring stunned at the woman.

Ashton was shocked at the voiced yelling MATE, MATE, Let me meet my MATE! Who are you!! Zeek, apologies its been far too long since I have been able have people hear me. We have been blocked for far too long.How do I change back?

Suddenly Ashton was butt naked on the ground too shocked to notice. His Grandfather had already introduced himself and was robed so

"Well that was unexpected" Grandfather chuckled.

"We need to get the rest of the clan there tigers too. Tonight before that theif relises he stole a fake heart." Elspeth was in a hurried calm. She knew exactly what to do just as Dion said she would.

"No problem, Ashton emergency meeting at the town square. Our Gods have answered our prayers and are reuniting us with our Tigers" Grandfather was calm, orderly and very decisive. It made the whole process much quicker. Within an hour the clan was altogether at town square performing the ritual Elspeth made up on a whim. Nobody was happier than Levi to see after the rushed union, the Covens heart starting to glow a purple and green hue. He knew that Elspeth needed to unseal this now.

"Elle you need to unseal this and take it in."

"Of course, Ashton come here please."

"What do you need me for?"

" I am a witch and this is how we consider a marriage as consumated. Sharing blood over our most sacred object, the coven heart, will bond us as married but also make it so only our family line can use the ancient magic this heart holds."

Without another question Ashton held is palm out for another slice and watched tjer blood mix over the heart. It absorbed and he felt the power radiating off Elspeth as well as feel the strength she recieved from bonding.

"My hand is healed?"

This time Ashton chuckled. "It seems you get to reap the benefits of being mated to the alpha tiger.

As quickly as the evening seemed to begin. it was now over and tomorrow would mark the beginning of a marriage they still needed to perform a ceromony for. Hopefully Ashtons parents wouldnt be too angry with him for not reporting the events right away. For now Ashton and the rest of the clan needed to rest.
