Grey's pov
It's a weekend, I don't enjoy weekends but today Sam is coming over with his family and that is a relief,at least the day doesn't get boring. I asked the chef to make something good for lunch and dinner they would be staying over and I was headed to Phoebe's room to tell her about it but stopped on my tracks when I heard her having a phone conversation I wanted to go back that there was something in me that wanted to hear what she had to say about me. Her : " hmmm I don't know he is being arrogant mom" I couldn't clearly hear what the mother said but how could she Her: " mom I hope dad is sleeping and eating peaceful cause you both literally sold me out to a man you both don't know, a man I hate so much mom, no no no no no mom there is nothing more to say I only picked up because you said Sarah was sick, mom don't call me for now please I don't want to talk to any of you " then she hinged up the call, she was crying I don't know but something in me felt guilty well hell no I can't feel guilty.
I went inside regardless and told her,"my friend and his family are coming around today. I want you to be In your best behavior. Do you understand me? " She could only nod, handed over the dress I wanted her to wear and went out .
It was afternoon already sam,his wife and their baby just arrived and we went out to welcome them " bro!! What's up " I could hear Sam screaming ahhh big baby " hey Sam how you doing, lol ruth long time no see lol how you doing" " grey you totally forgot me since I married your friend we don't talk that much " . "Sorry my bad well Phoebe this is ruth,Ruth this is my wife phoebe" rolling my eyes I know she is very dramatic " Phoebe you are so beautiful where did he get such an angel, grey did you kidnap her " whispering in her ears "did he force you to get married cause I know my friend over here never n can never understand how to court a woman,Phoebe here is my baby Ariel ," " wow she is beautiful can I hold her?" " Of Course you can " from the corner of my eyes I could see her playing, smiling and laughing with Ariel, to admit she is beautiful, her smile is contagious. What is wrong with me " so Ruth how has life and marriage been so far "," you know your friend will always act like a big baby,we re fine I have ventured into clothing business which I guess my husband over here HUNNY would have forgotten to tell you , so tell me how did you meet Phoebe " I rolled my eyes " don't give me that look grey she is a sweet innocent girl, please don't mess things up with please grey don't"." "Ariel baby, darling you look so beautiful "Ariel was smiling and laughing a lot and I felt at pace at least this would cheer me up, I sensed someone's present at my back turning I saw the guy he called Sam " hi I'm say I know my friend forgot to introduce me so I took the opportunity to formally introduce my self, we have been best friends since we were small " I was puzzled at first " sorry who? Grey's pov
I knew something was fishy going there I heard them talking don't know what it is about but I had to pull Sam out of the conversation. The lunch was fun Ruth and Phoebe bonded very well and deep down I loved that fact, we couldn't find them as they went about their usual girly stuff like always. Sam and I had chats about little things it was evening and the aroma of the food was drawing me in wow when did Ruth become such a good chef, "yummy" I said out before I could realize. Sam beat me to it went to the kitchen,I could hear the praises dropping from his lips so Phoebe is the one cooking I must say she cooks great,but my pride wouldn't allow me so I sat down had my dinner quietly but it was the best . Ruth and Sam were on their way home they said their goodbyes,gave hugs especially to Phoebe well it her luck and they left "hmmm ahhh" today was so hectic I couldn't even talk went inside took my shower and crashed
