Lily sat beneath the tree, her fingers tracing the delicate edges of the last leaf. She closed her eyes, letting the memories wash over her. Her mother's smile, her laughter, the way she used to read Lily stories before bed – it all came flooding back. As she sat there, Lily realized that she had forgotten so much about her mother. The pain of losing her had been too much to bear, and Lily had pushed the memories away, hiding them deep within her heart. But now, as she touched the last leaf, she felt the memories stirring, like a gentle breeze rustling the leaves of the tree. Lily spent hours beneath the tree, lost in the memories of her mother. She remembered the way her mother used to sing, the way she used to cook, the way she used to make Lily feel safe and loved. The memories were bittersweet, filling Lily's heart with both joy and sorrow. As the sun began to set, Lily reluctantly stood up, brushing the dirt from her clothes. She knew she would return to the tree, to the memories of her mother. But for now, she needed to go back to her own life, to the world beyond the forest. Little did she know, the wind was changing, and the last leaf was in danger of being blown away...
