Chapter Twenty-Two “Margaret, I’ve been waiting for half an hour,” Warwick called out, knocking on his sister’s bedroom door. “I’m sorry,” she said, opening it. She seemed to be dressed, thank goodness. “I don’t have Tina here to help me get dressed, and I couldn’t decide what to wear.” “Why didn’t you choose a dress this afternoon?” “I did, but then I changed my mind…and then changed it again. But I think I’ve settled on this one. What do you think?” She twirled around, sending her pretty white dress with lavender ribbons flying around her. “Very pretty. Now can we leave?” “Yes. Let me just get my fan and my reticule,” she said, looking around for the articles. Warwick spied them on a chair by the window and retrieved them for her. “Oh, thank you,” she said with a sigh of relief.
