Tobias Vance had been rushed to Aegis Medical Center for treatment. Though fury still smoldered in Elias Vance's chest, what weighed on him more heavily was his father's injuries and his mother's wellbeing. He flagged down a cab and headed straight for the hospital. He hadn't slept since the previous day. Fatigue wasn't something that troubled him easily, not after a decade of war, but now that he'd finally found his parents, the iron tension he'd been carrying in his shoulders began to loosen, just slightly.
