As soon as Andrei leaves the manager's office, Alexa bursts out a gleeful scream. Well, who would not be so excited and ecstatic? Not only did she meet and kissed such a handsome hunk, but she also got a million dollar investment from him. A Million Dollar... Not pesos... He is amazing! He is blessed with good looks and riches and is also a great kisser.

However, after much rejoicing, she realizes that she needs to be get familiar with her subordinates, the company policies, and products. She decides to ask her secretary regarding company policies and she was handed the manual. For the company products, the secretary said that she will schedule a meeting with the product developer and also the marketing head so that the sales report will also be discussed to her. Alexa is satisfied with her secretary's efficiency and foresight. She then tells, "Okay. Thank you. Let me know the schedule so that I can also carefully plan. Also, can you schedule a team building this Saturday? I'd like to get to know everyone who is part of the company. From the department head to the workers."

"Sure, ma'am. We are 320 all in all. Do you need help with the preparation?," the secretary replies.

"Oh, I'd appreciate it. I'll prepare the program, but I'd need you to arrange the venue, the catering, and the materials for the activities. Kindly tell the budget department head to allot a hundred thousand pesos for this activity and note it as part of operating costs. You may go now."

The secretary stands up, bows a bit, and takes her leave. She gets overwhelmed with the planning activities and is worried whether the additional budget on operating costs would diminish their budget for the workers' salary. Yet, she trusts that the new manager and company owner will not let the morale of her subordinates be affected because of possible salary reduction. She smiles again and efficiently works on her tasks.

She calls the budget department head, Adrian, to tell him about their manager's request regarding the budget. Adrian is a handsome nerd who has a huge crush on Cherrie, the secretary, so he readily complies with all her requests. Then, Cherrie types an announcement to inform everyone regarding the team building activity and sends it to all the department heads asking them to cascade the information to their subordinates. Lastly, she calls her best friend, Apple, who is a caterer and events organizer to ask for her help with the food and venue. Of course, Apple readily agrees.

It is a tiring day for Cherrie but she is fulfilled and delighted knowing that the new manager trusts her and allows her to make certain decisions that will help the company. After finishing her tasks for the day at exactly six o'clock that evening, she hails a cab and looks forward to have a relaxing lavender bath, eat steak, and drink wine. She deserves to pamper herself after all.
