Chapter 10

261 Words
Cherrie sheepishly smiles at Apple when talk about her lovelife happen. She is not one to be vocal about her emotions and even gets embarrassed about romantic stuff. After their small talk and eating the pastries they ordered, the two women talk about business in a no nonsense manner. Events management is Apple's bread and butter which she enjoys yet takes seriously at the same time. After meticulous planning, it was already time for the team building and company party. The events place was tastefully decorated with black and gold balloons. There were lots of food-- roast pork belly, seafood chopsuey, creamy lengua, fish fillet with cream of tartar dip, beef kare-kare, roast chicken, brownies, leche flan, pineapple and watermelon slices. Drinks were also overflowing-- lemonade, orange juice, four seasons juice, milk tea, coffee, mineral water, and red wine. Cherrie facilitated the program as the master of ceremony for the day. She called Alexa for the opening remarks and it was short yet clear. Then without further ado, the fun began with a game of BINGO with a twist because instead of numbers, the cards contain names of the employees of the company and the challenge for the winner before claiming the prize is to tell something about the people behind the names. After that, they had other games such as tug-of-war, trip to Jerusalem, newspaper dance, and more. Alexa let herself loose and had fun. She got to know more about herself, her employees, and Andrei. Cherrie also had fun and was glad about the success of the company party.
