I hit my head on the side of the car and woke up. I got up and realized we weren't near grassy fields or the woods no longer. We had just entered the city. I must've been asleep most of the way here.
But we finally made it, and safely for the most part.
“Welcome to Portside, Paige!" Caleb exclaimed, while slipping up my name.
I immediately got anxious.
“Who's Paige?" Alex questioned immediately.
“I meant Bella…I have no idea where the hell Paige even came from…" Caleb tried redeeming himself.
I also played along, looking confused. Alex was staring down at Caleb, trying to catch him in a lie. I knew I had to say something.
“Caleb had met a random girl throughout our journey, who was named Paige. He had a huge crush on her." I chimed in.
“Oh, is that right?" Alex tried teasing C
