“Are you sure you’re okay?” Thom placed his mug of coffee on the glass-topped coffee table and reached for Sophie’s hand. “You don’t look your usual self.” Sophie nursed the almost empty coffee in her hand. “Honestly?” She blew a long breath out. “I’m trying to hold it together for Ava but it’s hard.
