*THE NEXT MORNING_ 11PM*

" Sissy!!!!! " Skylar squealed happily as she jumped down the stairs and rushed into Sissy's arms.

She was seated inside the living room with a glass of wine in hand and clad in a towel robe.

Sissy smiled softly at her and got up on her feet. " How did you sleep, kiddo " she asked.

" Peaceful! " Skylar replied after disengaging the hug and walked into the kitchen with sissy following behind her.

" I can't find nanna anywhere, where's she? " Skylar asked as she opened the fridge and took out a bottle of milk.

" She went to the grocery store " sissy replied, sipping from the glass.

" I also couldn't find Zelda, have any idea where that little devil went?? "

" Nope, I haven't seen her yet. Thought she was still in bed " sissy Muttered and plopped down onto a stool in the kitchen.

" No classes?? " Sissy questioned after a few seconds of silence.

" Yep! "

" Okay, I still need some rest. Tell nanna to bring me my lunch upstairs, I'll be in my room " sissy says and leaves the kitchen, heading up the stairs.

Skylar took the bottle of milk and walked out of the kitchen but as she entered the living area the door swung open and nanny Maria walked in with many bags of groceries.

Skylar walked towards her and helped her with some bags. " Good morning, nanna " she mouthed and nanny Maria smiled.

" Morning, barbie doll " nanny Maria said as they both walked into the kitchen and dropped the bags on the cabinet.

Nanny Marie started opening cabinets but frowned when she didn't see what she was looking for!

" Is everything okay, nanna "

" Nooo, I didn't buy any casserole ingredients because I thought there'd be some left at home " nanny Maria hissed and sat on the stool.

" I don't want to go back there because my thighs are already aching "

" Don't worry, I'll go get some later in the day or do we need it now?? " Skylar said with a soft smile on her face.

'' No we don't, I'll make some macaroni for breakfast then we can have some casaro for dinner!! ''

" Okay, can't wait for breakfast nanna I'm famished "

" Alright my little angel, I'll start cooking now " nanny Maria said, tied her apron and wore a net on her hair.

Bianca and komolica walked into the city hospital with their faces twitched in a scowl.

" This hospital stinks!!! Why would the whole Odessa be brought in here?? " Komolica awed as they walked towards the nurses.

" We're here to see a friend, her name is Odessa McCullen " Bianca said and the nurse gave them a card after typing on her warn out keyboard.

" I hate this place, you still haven't told why the hell we need to see that b***h. We ain't even friends!! "

As they entered Odessa's hospital room, their footsteps were quiet on the sterile floor.

The air was heavy with the scent of antiseptic and the weight of Odessa's suffering.

Odessa lay motionless, her face shrouded in bandages, a haunting testament to the brutality she had endured.

Only her eyes were visible, puffy and red-rimmed from tears and pain.

Bianca's expression twisted in a mixture of horror and fake sympathy.

" Odessa, I... I'm so sorry " she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.

Komolica's eyes narrowed, her face set in a determined scowl.

" What monster would do such a thing to a fellow human being " she hissed, her words dripping with venom.

Odessa's gaze shifted, her eyes locking onto Bianca's.

A soft yelp left her lips, a mere whisper of gratitude.

"Thank you," she whispered, her voice fragile as glass as she ran her eyes around them.

" That countryside b***h is the cause of everything, she planned everything. I'll surely get my revenge when I get out of here " Odessa bellowed with hatred, even though it came out as a whisper.

Komolica rolled her eyes, with her eyes shrinking nonchalantly.

" And we wanna help you with your revenge, if you're willing to stick with us "

Odessa's eyes flashed with understanding. " Alright, but you guys need to leave now. My dad doesn't want anyone around me, he said I'm a curse "

*GROCERY STORE_ 8pm*

Skylar walked into the grocery store, the automatic doors swooshed open, enveloping her in a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The scent of freshly baked bread and ripe fruits wafted through the air, teasing her senses.

She strides across the polished floor, her Snickers clicking softly on the tile.

The fluorescent lights above cast a bright, even glow, illuminating the vibrant colors of the produce displays.

Skylar's gaze swept across the store, taking in the neatly arranged aisles and bustling shoppers.

She navigated through the crowds with ease, her gentle stride weaving past carts and enthusiastic children.

She took a cart and started strolling around,

Her destination was the baking aisle, where rows of flour, sugar, and spices lined the shelves like sentinels.

Skylar's fingers trailed over the ingredient labels, her mind ticking off the necessary components for her coveted casserole.

She plucked a bag of whole wheat pasta from the shelf, the rustle of paper echoing through the aisle.

Next, she selected a jar of rich, tangy marinara sauce, the glass cool against her fingertips.

She stood on her toes as she tried reaching for a block of creamy cheddar cheese,

" Need help??, shorty " she heard a familiar voice, which she had been shamelessly wanting to hear.

She Swiftly turned around to meet Damon's intense gaze boiling holes into her, which sent a jolt of shivers down her spine.

" Why the hell are you everywhere?? " She mumbled a bit irritated and he smirked.

" You're really cute when angry! " Damon snarled and walked closer to her, leaned closer and took the block of creamy cheddar cheese on the shelf, dropped it inside her cart and locked eyes with hers.

Skylar's eyes narrowed. " Are you stalking me??? " She asked with her brows knitted and hands folded.

Damon smiled one sided and patted her hair cutely, which made her swallow her teeth.

FUCK IT!!!!! There goes her darn heart!!!! Beating like a f**king party drum.

Damon's eyes dropped down to what she wore and his grin widened. " Is that my jacket?? "

Skylar could already feel her cheeks burning as she wrapped her hands around herself, it's not his jacket!!!!!!!

" It's not your jacket!!! " She snapped with her lips pouted, she turned around and started walking away with the cart filled with the ingredients needed.

She went to the cashier paid for the ingredients and left the store with the ingredients.

Immediately she walked out of the store, the sky transformed into a deep, foreboding grey. Dark clouds gathered, their undersides lit by flashes of electric blue.

The first droplets began to fall, Light and Gentle.But soon, the rain intensified.

Heavy and Relentless.

Skylar's hair clung to her face, Her clothes soaked wet and clung to her curves which she didn't like one bit.

And She didn't bring an umbrella, Now, she is at the mercy of the Heavy storm.

Just as she quickened her pace, A sleek black Mercedes pulled up beside her.

The passenger window slid down and Damon's chiseled features came into view.

"Need a ride?" he asked with a smirk and she rolled her eyes.

It was like the rain was on his side, the rain increased more hitting her heavily and she quickly slipped into the warm, leather-scented interior.

Damon's eyes crinkled at the corners and he chuckled, one stubborn kitty!!!.

" So where are you heading???? "

As the car glided through the rain-soaked streets, The sound of raindrops on the roof Created a soothing melody.

Damon's gaze flicked between her and the road, with a soft smile playing on his lips.

" What is your name?"

Skylar's eyes widened at the question, he really didn't know her name but he's clearly stalking her?!!! She rolled her eyes at the question.

" Just take me Home." She muttered, he Swiftly hit the brakes and the car came to a sudden stop.

The way he had slammed the brakes was so sudden that she almost hit her head on the deck but he quickly placed his hand there and she hit his hand instead.

" So sorry!!! " He whispered, his voice low and husky while running his hands through her hair, which sent waves of electricity through her spine.

He stared at her for a while before turning towards the road and tried starting the car but it didn't start, he tried again but......

" What is happening???? " Skylar asked.

" Like I have a damn idea!!, maybe the car's engine is just scared of you! " He snarled and she glared at him.

" Sorry, don't look at me like that. Please don't bite me " Damon pulled her cheeks and she slapped off his hands.

" I'll f**king bit you e, if you don't go out there and get this carton moving!! "

" s**t!!!! Cat, this is a 300 billion dollar baby and not a carton, I'm f*****g not going out there. It's raining heavily!!!!! " Damon said, leaned into the chair headrest and shut his eyes.

Skylar hissed angrily and came down from the car, slamming the door hard enough for Damon's eyes to flash open .

It was still raining heavily and she won't be able to walk back home, and this stupid pretty boi isn't helping.

She raked her fingers through her wet hair and wiped her face with her hands, she walked to the front of the car and tapped the bonnet while glaring at Damon in the car.

He quickly opened the bonnet and came out of the car as well, walking towards her.

Immediately she opened the bonnet, it started smoking as rain droplets started falling on it.

" It seems the engines are smoky hot!!! " She murmured while touching someone nuts, Damon kept staring at her with a smirk playing on his lips.

She's very cute, she sucked in her lips when she suddenly felt a wave of breeze.
