“But, Mom, if you do that, then there will be enough room in that large family room for a pool table,” said Rodney with a twinkle in his eye.
“Yeah, honey, there will be lots of room in my dreams,” joked Tom. “Don’t worry, Rodney, we both know that your mother will just fill the extra room with bookshelves, but maybe one day.”
“Yes, Tom, dreaming is always good. And you’re right about the bookshelves; we do need another couple for your collections,” I said as I grinned at him.
He had just gotten into collecting graphic novels and was grumbling about not having enough space. But once his office was done, I was going to get shelves put into the closet and proper file boxes. That would put a smile on his face.
