I lay on bed breathing heavily. Nathan's still watching me with—this proud look on his face.
And there goes the shame.
But instead of shame, I feel something has left me. Feeling a sense of dread, I stand up grabbing my clothes.
“Baby? You okay?”
“Nina,” I call. “Nina? Nina!”
I panic as the words of the witch flashes in my brain. In the cruelest way pushing me into a daze. Everything is rotating. Everything is spinning so much and I can't make out why it's happening. I manage to put my clothes on, all the while Nathan follows me.
“Hannah talk to me please…what's wrong?”
“Don't follow me,” I warn before finally leaving the cave room.
I don't know where I'm going. I just follow my legs. “Nina! Nina, please talk to me…
Nina…please…”
I find myself in unfamiliar woods.
