~Nathan~ I look up from my plate–towards my foster mother. “I don't remember anything. My brain holds no memory of that place.” But it's a lie. I remember everything. In fact, one of the punishments of making it out of Grimswood forest alive is the painful vivid remembrance of all that happened there. The knife slashes and the blood drips, the gory images and eerie sounds, the different creatures and the swift and abrupt sound transitions. From the moment one of my legs stepped in, the forest swallowed me. Inside there, my wolf powers and senses became heightened but it was still nothing compared to the ones the creatures attacking me every passing second had.
