“Hannah! Why's the meat still on fire!” Linda blares.
“Why are the drinks not here yet?”
“How long will you wash those dishes!”
Goddess! Doesn't she see the pile of dishes in front of me that I'm trying to deal with right now? Hannah, why this! Hannah, why that! Let me breathe!
I'm about to complain but she's moved on, yelling.
I sigh, abandon the dishes and go to check on the meat.
The results of the first Alpha elections just got announced and Liam won. Now he's the leading candidate. There's still a final round before the Alpha is officially declared though.
Not a surprise that Cathylene will not let it go without showing off. I know she's doing this to make the Blackwood family feel bitter.
But right now, the question should be why the fvck am I the one cooking?
