“You are up. Olivia, come see, mummy is awake!” Liam brings Olivia to my side. She buries her face in my body and whispers how much she missed me. I doubt she knew I was locked up. Liam and Cathylene would have cooked a big lie for her.
I miss my little girl so much I can't stop the tears clouding my eyes. I blink away the tears remembering I just saw Nathan. But I don't see him again. I knew it. It was just my hallucinations. I swallow painfully.
“Oh, and Nathan's back. That bastard surprised us all. I thought he was dead for real,” Liam scoffs.
“Language, daddy!” Nina whines.
“Sorry, my little princess.”
My insides stir to life. “Oh my god.” So it wasn't my imagination…Nathan's really back and alive. The kind of relief that washes over me is one I've never felt before
