“My darling you are awake” his voice sent shivers down my spine, I shuffled slightly away for Jeremy, I didn’t want him to believe we were getting closer or coming up with a plan to get out of here, my fear was that now I was becoming more supernatural how much hold over me would he have, my mark was still prominent on my neck, so my vampire transformation hadn’t changed anything other than myself. I thought I would be more upset about my untimely ‘death’ but the world I once lived in was almost non-existent anymore. “yes, I’m awake, though I feel different” I replied to him, I sweetened my voice hoping he wouldn’t see through the charade “you will my darling, you have gone through a wonderful change, you must be thirsty” I knew exactly what he was referencing and I had to play this right
