I am Broken

Chapter 4- Willow POV

                    After our stop in god knows where, we were on our last leg of the journey to England according to the air hostess, I felt jealousy when I saw her with Jake and I didn’t know why, I knew I loved Alex, but I guess my feelings hadn’t complete gone away for Jake and to see him like that pulled at my heart and not in a nice way. She had continued to check on me throughout the fight and bring me food and drink, I didn’t hold anything against her, she didn’t know who I was to him, but I kept my thoughts to myself the rest of the flight.

               We finally touch down and I was glad to be on the ground again, it was dark outside and I had no idea what day or time it was with all the time differences between countries, I had thought of all the possibilities of who my captor might be but then I remember I a conversation I once had with Alex when he was injured, he told me all about the dealings he had with the demons, and I remembered him telling me how all of them lived in England, but which one?

              Jake had also become a vampire, so only one person had popped into my mind, Damian. He had to be involved at least but I was still unsure who the mastermind could be, my thoughts brought me to William, but I just was so unsure, and I felt like he didn’t fit with the dream I had. A knock at the door broke my thoughts as Jake came through the door, “we have landed and it’s time to go Will” I sighed and picked myself up off the bed and followed him out of the plane.

             There was a black Porsche waiting next to the plane as we departed, Jake looked at me to see if I was impressed “perks of the job” he comments, I was impressed by the car, who wouldn’t be but I wasn’t going to give him the satisfaction, instead I sighed and walked past him even though internally I was screaming with excitement, I walked to the car admiring it greatly but when I turned back, I saw something that annoyed me immediately and I didn’t know why?

              The air hostess was practically sticking her tong down his throat and putting a piece of paper in his pocket, my guess it was her number. I had enough and cleared my throat bring his attention back to me, he smiled like he knew I was slightly jealous, but I still wasn’t sure why. Jake finally left that woman and joined me in car. We sped off quickly and I was fed up with not knowing where we were going so, I just asked "where are we going?" he smiled “we are going back to my pack, the one I told you about, my master has important business till the morning, so you will be staying with me until I can take you to him.”  

                 “Are you ever going to tell me who your master is?” I really put emphases on master, just make sure he knew how stupid it sounded, he chucked “you will find out in the morning, I would like to introduce you to my beta and his wife, they will look after you if I am called away” I part of me was interested on what life he had made out of this situation and it was going to be hard for me to escape for the moment, so I needed to come up with a plan.

                     I took in my surroundings and it seemed where ever we landed was not a public airport, but if I could get back here and convince them to take me home I would be free but I needed my ability’s to do that and it seemed I didn’t have that right now, so I need to find a way to fight whatever is stopping them and I knew that would take time, I could even figure out a public airport as a back-up, but for now I would stay put and stay out of trouble if I can help it.  

                    I could finally see lights in the distance and noticed we were driving down a well-maintained driveway, dimly lit lamps lighted the way and round a corner a large mansion came into view, it looked amazing, I had never seen a house so big, ours back home was big but it was nothing compared to this. “why is it so big?” I asked him, he smiled at me and explained “I thought you would be impressed, the whole pack lives here we all like to be close to one other, we have all we need here, plenty of rooms, kitchens, dining rooms, gyms, a swimming pool, cinema, the works only the best.”

                  “Wow, why in one house though?” I asked him “things are slightly different here in England, firstly because we are all mixed species, some see us as an abomination so it’s safer to all stay in one place and secondly, we have attracted a group of hunters” he paused for a second leading to another question “hunters?” I asked, “humans with no gifts or ability that believe we don’t have a reason to live, other supernatural species don’t like who we are, but they keep their distance for the fear we will be too powerful, but these humans do not care they hunt us for fun.”   

                    “How would they even know about you?” he dropped his head down, I knew he didn’t want to tell me the reason but I had a feeling he would “the last Alpha kidnaped some of their humans and returned them either dead or severely damaged, they might as well have been dead, when I took over I tried to reach out to make amends but they didn’t want to know, apparently he had taken their leaders wife and killed her returning her body in pieces as a warning.”

                    “Who would want to make amends when someone did that to his wife” I was angry, that poor man. “I agree, if anything happened to you, I would kill anyone involved” I had to laugh, it sounded ridicules, “you kidnap me and you now worry about something happening to me, so if your master hurts me are you going to kill him?” I asked, he remained silent “that’s what I thought, so keep your feeling to yourself” he chucked at me which made me even more angry “as long as you keep your jealousy to yourself, I can smell it from a mile away” he then leans in and whispers words that send shivers down my spine “because it turns me on.” 

                    The car we silent as we pulled up to the house, guard on sentry posts and large gates blocked my exit, we finally parked and two people stood in front of the lit house making it hard to see their faces, but their aura and souls were powerful, one was dark and one was light, complete opposites but there was a deep love for one another, my guess this was his beta and his wife. “before we get out, Gray is a bit hard to get used at first but he is a nice guy really and as my Beta he will give you the upmost respect, his wife is called Mia, she is my gamma and will take care of your needs the most, I hope you come to like your new home Will, It makes me so happy to have you within my reach again” I remained quiet, I don’t plan on making this my home.

                       We stepped out the car as I stood, I lost my footing, great I was going to meet these people by landing right on my face, I braced myself for a hard impact but it never came, instead two large arms wrapped around me stopping my fall, I opened my eyes seeing Jakes face inches from mine, it felt like time stopped as I stared in to his miss coloured eyes, my hear fluttered as he held onto me tightly but my head was confused, I shouldn’t be feeling this way, he was now the enemy, I really questioned myself in that moment, a cough broke us from our trance.

                   I was placed safely back on the ground, I was surprised how quickly he got to me, but I then remembered his new being must come with a few perks, I looked slightly at the ground to hide my embarrassment, but once I had calmed, I looked up at my new captors, they may be nice people according to Jake, but I had learnt the hard way not to trust new people. My eyes met Gray’s his right eye was white, and his left was blue, I soon realised why he had a dark aura, he was half demon and half wolf, while Mia’s eyes were the purest green I had ever seen, she must have been witch and a wolf, with eyes like that there was no other explanation, though I would have to ask to be sure.

                “Hello Luna, I am sure my alpha has already given you our names, myself and Mia will take care of you while you are here” his voice matched his face, deep and honestly a little scary, he was good looking and had pure white hair, but his face had a permanent scowl on it “you know I’m not your Luna?” I wanted them to know I had no plan on staying here “I know” he says bluntly “but you are Luna of the Eastwood pack am I right” I nodded “then I will call you as such, any Luna deserves respect as long as they give it in return” the last part made me shiver.

                   “Ignore him Luna, he’s just grumpy, our son kept him up all night” I was shocked “you have a son?” I asked “yes, our little boy is called Ricky, he’s only a couple months old so he keeps us up at night, I will introduce you to him tomorrow when you get back” I smiled at her “when I get back?” she smiled at me but would not answer, Gray spoke for her “you have a meeting in the morning, I think it’s time you get some rest, I am sure Mia will take you to your room, Alpha and I have hunters to discuss about”

                      I wanted to know more about what was going on, but I knew I wouldn’t get an answer, I left Jake without saying a word and followed Mia into the grand house, it was quite honestly spectacular, the furnishings were modern and it all went well. Mia noticed I had stopped to take it all in “I will give you a tour tomorrow when you get home” I looked back her, I didn’t mean to be rude but it just came out “this isn’t my home” she looked a little hurt, like her décor wasn’t good enough “I’m sorry Mia, this place is amazing I’m just tried and I miss my family that’s all” she smiled, I’m guessing she felt better that I like how the place looked “sorry I guess this isn’t your home, but it could be” I didn’t have a reply and I didn’t want to be rude so I kept my mouth shut and followed her upstairs.

                 After a few flights we reach a floor, there were only a couple of doors and I wondered which one would be mine, “if it was up to our alpha, you would be in his suite but you will be in this room next to his, its meant for his children but I think it will suit you for now, it has a bathroom connected so you will be all sorted, I will leave you to get comfortable” she turned on her heals and was gone before I could say thank you. I opened the door and found the room to my liking, it was bright and airy, it also had a large balcony, I looked at the rest of the room before venturing out there. 

                  A large bed sat in the middle and two doors sat at either end of the room, one was the bathroom with a large bath and a walk-in shower and the other was a walk-in wardrobe, they seemed to have spared no expense, it was full of cloths, I ran my hand across them feeling the fabrics, they felt expensive. I made my way back out and opened the double doors leading to the balcony, I couldn’t see much but the stars looked breath-taking, I felt like the room was made for me.

                 I felt the tiredness wash over me as I made my way to the bed, I lay there trying to link anyone back home, but it was no use something was still blocking me, I finally closed my eye hoping for a dreamless sleep as I prepared myself for this meeting tomorrow, I had to be ready, a single tear left my eye but I wiped it away this time I would not cry.
