Chapter Five
The troll tunnels, as any underground tunnel or cave, stayed at a constant cool temperature... unlike the frigid weather outside. Sarah cast another round of her vitality spell on each of them and rubbed her temples. “This infrared vision spell is giving me a headache,” she grumbled and closed her eyes for a moment.
Nicole laughed and took her arm, pulling her along behind her. “That’s too bad, Sarah. I was actually impressed at how high-tech your spells were getting.”
Hopper called over the large backpack he was carrying back to them, “You know how you get when you use too much magic, Sarah. Leave off of the vitality spells for a while. I know a place where we can grab a few hours of sleep just up the tunnel a bit.”
