Cloud’s Point of View I could feel the weight of everything pressing down on me as I sat beside Shaina, holding her close. The fear I had felt earlier—when I discovered she was gone, when I feared I might never see her again—still lingered, but the relief of having her in my arms was the only thing keeping me grounded. “Shaina,” I murmured softly, brushing the hair from her forehead. “I’m not going to let anything happen to you.
