Chapitre VI: Consequence

Raven's Point of View :

It's been almost a week since Lannah's birthday. I'm still not used to being with the four girls. I don't know why.

"Morning Brother!" Spence greeted me when I entered the classroom. I just smiled at him.

I'm not in the mood anymore. I bet something tiring will come aye?

The morning classes were fine, and it was already the last period before lunch. I almost forgot it's only half day today.

"Are you sure it's only half day today?" Luke asked me while waiting for the teacher.

"You didn't hear? I heard that yesterday. Did you go to the office?" I answered, he just shrugged.

"Tsk not doing your duties, I'll impeach you later." I jokingly said.

"Good morning class." Greetings from our teacher.

"Today we shall have your classroom election." Now? Damn, maybe I'll be tripped up by these fools again.

"SC Officers can't take the place of the highest 3. You can elect them, but not in the position of President, Vice and Secretary. Don't add a burden to them." I'm safe from what our teacher said.

"May I call Mr. Davion, for the temporary president, and Ms. Enriquez for the secretary?" Oh well.

"I will not take this long. So good morning everyone. We are gathered here today, in our room as a class for the election. As we formally start, the table for the position of president is now open, any nominations?" I'll just hurry up, I want to rest.

Luke raised his hand. "Yes Luke?" He stood up and smiled in Alex's direction hmm.

"I highly nominate Mr. Johnstone for president." Luke replied. Alex objected, so Luke and I had an eye conversation.

"I forgot to tell you. NO OBJECTIONS appreciate the efforts of your classmate to elect you." I smiled after saying that.

"Anymore?" I asked, it looks like no one will nominate anymore? Spence raised his hand, so I called him.

"I move that the nomination for President be closed." Our other classmates laughed, and no one objected, they just said "We second the motion."

"Congratulations to our new Class President, Mr. Alexander Michael Johnstone, please come in front and take my position." Alex couldn't stay anymore haha.

The three of us did bro fists after I sat down. The election was smooth. There were no opponents or dissenters. Maybe they also want a position? Hmm maybe.

"The table is now open for our Muse and Escort. Any nominations?" Alex's words.

No one raised their hand except for Spence. Who would he nominate?

"I highly nominate Ms. Schwarzenegger for Muse." Spence smiled when he said it, hmm I feel weird?

"I don't want to, you want to die Spencer?" Lannah said irritably.

"I'm sorry Lannah, but you heard the former president NO OBJECTIONS learn to appreciate." Alex smiled after he said that, what's with the smiles today? Lannah glared at me.

"Anymore?" He asked again. Mary raised her hand.

"I move that the nomination for Muse be closed." She got a s******g from Lannah after she sat down because everyone agreed.

"For Escort?" Alex asked.

Briannica immediately raised her hand. Why did our other classmates seem to be silent? I can't blame them for not wanting to be an officer because it's really tiring, it's our last year at middle school, so we should enjoy it.

"I nominate Mr. Davion for Escort." Bri smiled at me before sitting down.

It took seconds before my brain processed what she had said. What the damn did she just say?

"What?! Hello No!" I'm against it.

"I'm sorry but you implemented the rule. NO OBJECTIONS." Alex blocked me. I feel betrayed. I was just taking a risk.

"Any other nominations?" He immediately asked so that no one else would be nominated. This time Luke raised his hand.

"I move that the nomination for Escort be closed." He said. "We second the motion." Damn it.

"Traitors." I whispered.

"Why is there always only one nominated? There's no thrill guys." Alex joked because the new officers were final. Our other classmates just smiled.

"Ms. Abrielle Alannah Schwarzenegger is our new Muse and Mr. Raven Randall Davon is our new Escort." The six traitors are very happy.

I didn't pay attention to them while in the cafeteria, I was busy eating, and the fact that they betrayed me? Tss

"Why are you two quiet? Are you romantically excited somehow?" Alex asked. I just gave him a deadly look.

"Woaah easy Rave, they planned it, not me." He took his words back.

"Shh." I hissed.

"I'm disappointed with you guys! Just gonna get some fresh air." Lannah got up and left. I also got up to leave. I was full.

"Oy, are you going to follow her?" asked Spence.

"The hell? I'm going home. Today will most likely be a half day. Ask Luke, maybe he'll announce it later." I went straight to the parking lot and texted my driver to come and pick me up.

I'm stressed out. I need to relax. Maybe I should get a massage tomorrow? Hmm.

"Why are you here?" I was surprised when someone spoke behind me.

"Going home, and you? Why are you here?" I asked back.

"I just got my phone from home, they delivered it because I forgot it earlier." She answered. I didn't say a word.

"Hello dear students of ZYX University, classes are suspended this afternoon. Hope you enjoy your weekend. But, teachers, officials and SC Officers of High School please stay for an urgent meeting. Good afternoon everyone." Then the speakers went silent.

"What the hell? Why are college and elementary not always involved in university activities?" s**t, I've been feeling different earlier, so this was it.

"Sshh, no talkshit Mr. President. So I guess you'll stay? Haha bye." Lannah said goodbye and got in the car. She was obviously going home because of the announcement.

I went to the office frustrated and in disbelief. What happened? Why have another meeting?

I saw Luke and Spence sitting not far away with a look of boredom on their faces. Luke is the SC Treasurer and Spence is the SC Auditor.

"I'm sorry for the urgent meeting everyone." Introduction by Mr. Xavier.

"We are all gathered here today, because of an important event." Sir added.

"My grandfather will arrive sooner than expected." His face was serious.

"When?" asked Mrs. Vermion.

"This Sunday, and tomorrow is the day we should prepare." Most of us gasped.

"I know how you feel, I am with you. Let's call it a week. So let's start everyone." He said the last thing before standing up.

And the meeting started. I hope this will end soon. I'm goddamn tired.

Alannah's Point of View :

I was distracted by my phone ringing, a nuisance.

"Hello?" I yawned.

"Haha she's awake girls. Anyway, prepare yourself, Lannah. We will visit you there and don't forget the food. I love you." Mary said and ended the call.

What is their trip now? I was planning to hibernate until the weekends.

I went downstairs to get ready. "Please prepare the food, because my friends will be visiting." Our maid just nodded and bowed and left to get ready.

"That's the ending? It's so boring." Mary commented after the movie ended.

"But Gong Yoo is handsome in there!" Daph commented.

"I'm a traitor, he is my manstress, sorry guys." Bri said.

And the three argued, because the last one we watched was Train To Busan. I got up from bed and got my phone.

I was speechless when I read the two posts on ZYX University Group on sss.

"Uhmm guys, mind opening your sss accounts? In the ZYX group to be specific." I told the three and they took their phones out.

Their eyes widened. Yeah it's your fault. I don't know why, but the consequences seem scary.

Yesterday at 5:00p.m.

"Good afternoon everyone. All students should come to university tomorrow at 8:00a.m. sharp for the preparation of an event. ATTENDANCE IS A MUST. Each president of every class from Grade 7 to 10 will be checking the attendance. There will be a consequence given for students who are late and suspension for being absent. I'm in charge of the Middle School team, so please cooperate. See you tomorrow."

"Hello everyone. Please come to the university tomorrow to prepare for the coming event. ATTENDANCE IS A MUST. I'm in charge of High School, rules shall be followed and implemented. Good day everyone."

Tsk, Raven is really grumy. He will kill us later. 8:00 a.m. sharp, and it's already 3:53 a.m.!

"What to do guys? It seems bothersome to go to bed and be absent later." Mary stated.

"Yeah, let's go to sleep." Bri replied.

"It's because of you! If you hadn't betrayed me, you wouldn't have to reconcile with me now. Besides, we also have plans on Sunday! You really are witches." I said, annoyed. They just laughed.

"That's OK, at least we'll be together and leave no one behind!" Daph said.

I woke up to a knock on the door. Haays, it looks like I haven't slept enough.

"Ma'am Lannah, it's almost noon, haven't you eaten breakfast yet?" Our maid's words behind the door.

"We'll just head downstairs!" I shouted as I fixed myself.

Shit! I just remembered that we are going to university today. When I looked at the time, I couldn't get rid of the fear and panic; 11:09a.m.

I then tried to wake up the three. Luckily, I had a loudspeaker.

"Wake up! It's eleven, we're dead!" They woke up with the loudness, and when they realized what I said they were also panicking.

We hurried down, ate and showered. It took us a bit longer because there were only two bathrooms. The three of them were still fighting over my clothes to borrow.

There was no one in the open field when we arrived, we were already sweating and out of breath from running here.

"Are they fooling us? Where are they?" I said, tired and irritated.

"Maybe they've gone home? It's canceled, but there's no notification from the group." Mary said.

"Maybe it was just a prank?" Bri added.

"I don't think so, wait. It's already 12:30 p.m.! They're probably in the cafeteria!" Daph answered.

We ran to the cafeteria. Everyone looked at each other when we entered the glass door. I saw Luke, Spence and Alex not far away. Are they missing one person? They gave me a strange look. I still don't get what it is.

"It's good that you came, that's better than suspension, right?" We were surprised when someone spoke behind us. We turned around and it was Raven, just from his cold voice it was him.

"Your consequence? Hmm, I'm so excited to tell you this. You will be the last group to give an intermission number, it should be explosive and grand." He said directly with a smile in my direction.

Only one thing comes to my mind.

We're doomed.
