Chapitre II : Amazona Raven's Point of View : Who is that guy? Why is he smiling? Does that guy know us? I still don't know who that person is and why he is doing that. "Son, are you OK?" Mom asked me a question. She may have noticed. "No mom, it's just that, we're really in our 10th grade right now." After I said that, I took a bite of food, and we both having dinner. "I still remember how cute you were when you were young haha." Mom jokingly said to me. "Mom! I'm not a child anymore." I replied shyly. "All right, all right, I just remember your dad." Her face is serious now. I only grew up with my mom. My dad has not been there with us since I was born. "What happened to dad, mom?" I'm still not convinced about the truth, sigh. "I told you he died saving us, he loves us both, he even gave up everything for us to be safe." Mom forced a smile, which is obvious, I can feel how much she misses and mourns for him. "What's the reason?" I'm so curious she doesn't want to tell me. She sighed before answering, the time would come and she would tell me this too. "There used to be chaos, you know the old days? We got stuck in that dilemma, there was fire, gunshots, and bombings, we're trapped, and the only way out is in the enemy's hand." She took a deep breath before continuing. "There was no other way. We were tired of thinking at that time until he came up with an idea. He distracted the enemies for us two to escape, using the way out." Tears were welling up in her eyes. "We've escaped. I waited for him, but he never showed up." She cried. I hugged mom and comforted her. "Shhh, I'm sure wherever he is now, he's happy, we're both well." I smiled at her and she went upstairs. It's getting late at night and I still can't sleep. That person messed with my mind and added to that what my life would be like while in the company of the sss woman tsk. ~ "Morning bro, are you in a bad mood?" Spence greeted me when I entered the classroom. "Is it because of a girl bro?" Alex joked. I still ignored it. "Leave him for now, he is still in his deep thoughts." Luke inserted. I'm exhausted, I didn't have enough sleep last night. Regular classes will start now. Good luck to me. I was quiet during the whole class and didn't realize that I was already heading home. No one dares to bother me, they say I'm scary when I'm not in the mood. "Where are we going to now? I heard that our parents have meetings so they will be home late?" Spence asked with a smile. "Really? We won't be scolded if we come home a little late, right?" Alex. "Rave, bro, where do you plan to go now?" Luke asked me, so the other two also looked at me. "Hmm? I'm so tired I can't think of anything." I didn't want to answer. "Let's eat. I'm hungry." Spence answered instead. "You're really hungry any time." Alex jokingly said, which made us laugh. I lose a bit of stress when I'm with my friends. "At last, we finally made you laugh," Luke said in a cool manner. We used Spence's car to go to the restaurant where we also hang out. It's near the beach, so it's fresh outside. Spence said it was his treat, so we agreed to tag along. "Steak and Uhm, any soft drinks please." Spence said with a smile to the waiter. "I'll have a steak too, some pasta, and green tea please." Alex grinned widely as he looked at Spence. "Tsk," Spence answered, then looked at the sea. "Just a burger and milk." Luke. "French Fries, 2 Drumsticks, Strawberry Ice Cream medium, and Softdrinks." The eyes of the three widened at what I said. "What?" I asked irritably, they just shook their heads and looked at the sea, and I also gazed at the sight of it. "Okay, sir." The waiter said and immediately left. "The Class Officers election will be next week. Raven is still our president, okay?" Spence laughed. Instead of enjoying being the class president, I got annoyed. That's why they wanted me to be the president because all the work is for me. What a mindset. "I have been president of the classroom for three years already, the current Student Council President as well. You don't feel sorry for me anymore?" I acted hurt. "No." They answered three in unison, I saw it coming. "What are friends for?" Alex asked with a smile. "You deserve it, so it's OK with us." Luke. I'm the one who was tripped up by the scumbags. "We're going to start our campaign tomorrow." Spence said. "Raven for president." Alex. Their laughter grew louder as my face turned red with anger. "It's just a joke, gosh! You were in a bad mood earlier." Luke said, still laughing. "It's getting worse." When I protested, they just laughed. I noticed a man not far away looking at us. He immediately disappeared when he saw me looking in his direction. Weird, is he the guy from last time? Why are you bothering me? I didn't want to think about it and turned myself to other work. We stayed for a few minutes and made some noise before each of us headed home. The next day I didn't feel tired anymore, so I thought about going around the campus and memorizing the university since it was still early. I saw some students gathering not far away, so I approached. "Hey bro, you're already here, the two aren't here yet?" Luke asked when I arrived. I shook my head in response. "Wait, what's wrong?" I asked as I tried to get to the front. "See for yourself." He said while following me. "DO YOU THINK IT IS MY FAULT NOW? YOU WERE THE ONE WHO BUMPED INTO ME, THEN YOU'RE STILL THE ONE TO BE ANGRY?" The voice seemed familiar until I reached the front of the crowd. "The sss girl." I was annoyingly snorted. "THE GUTS YOU HAVE, IT'S YOU WHO DOESN'T LOOK AT THE WAY, ARE YOU DOING IT ON PURPOSE?" Answered his male enemy. "Don't interfere with them yet, it's fun to watch the kids fight." Luke laughed at me, I just nodded, haha. "WHAT MY FAULT? YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S ON THE CELLPHONE, YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO YELL AT ME! SAY SORRY TO ME!" Lannah was burning with anger, tsk warfreak for a nerd. The friends of both sides came and tried to separate them. "I will not say it, it's not my fault." The man is a bit sloppy, this man has the guts, huh? Lannah got angrier and kicked the man's leg in response. The man was ready to fight when I spoke. "Stop it, or else follow me to the office?" I said to both of them with the authority that the people involved were surprised and even the other students who watched. I can't let this escalate further. "S-sorry Mr. Raven, S-sorry Miss." The man said, bowing. "Everyone go to your classrooms now." I said calmly, and they started leaving. "You're not a referee, why are you interfering?" I turned my gaze to Lannah, it was me she was talking to. "That's one of my duties, apologize to that man, and accept his apology." I was annoyed to answer her. "I accept your apology, but I will not say sorry." She said flatly. "Tsk SAY IT NOW! So it won't take this long." I said. "NO!!" She turned and walked away. "Ms. Schwarzenegger! How dare you turn your back on me? You really want to die?" She just flicked her hair and didn't even turn around. My fist clenched in anger. "Don't you ever make trouble again, OK?" I walked to the classroom. "Yes, Mr. President." They answered and left, you'll have a day with me girl. The classroom is so quiet instead of noisy with or without a teacher when I enter, the atmosphere is so different now. I know they know about Lannah and our scene earlier, the gossip is really quick tsk. The students also already knew what happened to us on the first day. Maybe Mary told them. My dear cousin will have a word with me. "I'm going home, I'm just going to commute, my driver will be late." I said goodbye after the class. "Alright, bro!" Spence. "Watch out dude!" Alex, Luke just waved me off. When I opened the door, someone bumped into me and hit me in the chest. "Dead." Alex said when my face darkened. "AREN'T YOU SORRY?" The person who bumped into me exclaimed. "DAMN IT'S NOT MY FAULT YOU WALK WITHOUT CAUTION!" My blood boiled, even more, when I knew Lannah was the one who bumped into me. "WHY WOULD I? YOU ARE THE ONE WHO WALKS STRAIGHT AWAY." We had a staring contest in anger. "Stop it already." Spence blocked us, and Lannah kicked him as she had done earlier. "Oh! I'm the one who's trying to calm things here." The two just calmed him down and we both continued to stare. "Stop it." Bri was the one who pulled away. Her squad arrived. I gently pushed her aside with one hand. "Rave! Stop it, please! Just apologize, since you're a gentleman!" Mary said in front of me. "Tell your friend, she is guilty this time." I stubbornly said. "Just be sorry Lannah, my cousin is prideful too." Mary stood between me and Lannah. "I won't do it, Mary, let's go." She raised an eyebrow, then entered the classroom, took her bag, and the four left. "Just let this slide, I already texted your driver, he said he just arrived outside a while ago." Said Luke, who is calming me down. "Thanks, I'll see you tomorrow." I said goodbye. It was obvious that I was not in the mood. I walked to the parking lot and the students were scared at my looks, so they immediately gave way on the path I was taking. Before I went to sleep, I gave thought about what happened earlier and decided to just forget about it tsk, I'll let it pass what happened today Lannah, your day will come too. But what bothers me tonight, is the man who is always watching me.
