Raven's Point of View :

"Driver! Please hurry up, I'm already late tss." I'm pissed off.

"YES SIR! Sorry for my inconvenience." The driver replied hurriedly.

"Tsk." I answered coldly.

"Take care son! Enjoy your day!" Mom waved her hand with a big smile on her face to cheer me up.

I replied to her with a smile before entering the car, I love my mom.

It's the first day of my last year at junior high school, another year of suffering tss.

Everyone was gathered on the center field for the orientation, which sucks. I was waiting for my friends to text me and save me from there.

"Bro, where are you? We're at our usual place." Text Message from Luke, thank God!

"We're still classmates! Haha, no one can break the bond between us." Spence happily greeted me as soon as I arrived.

"There are a lot of pretty girls today, aren't they? The bad thing is, they are all juniors. What would they look like if they grew and matured?" Alex blurted out, our chick boy.

"What's the plan? I think I will ditch class, I'm f*****g bored tss." I said out of frustration while leaning against the tree.

"Yeah bro, tsk tsk our parents sent us abroad to have advanced knowledge regarding their business matters. I want to rest." Luke agreed with what I said.

"We even spent 2 summers there." Luke followed up angrily.

Summer time here in the Philippines, we have just finished 8th grade in high school.

I'm with my bros, Spencer, Lucian, and Alexander at my house playing video games. All of their parents are also here downstairs discussing business matters with my mom.

"Guys." My mom said the door was slightly open after knocking on the door.

"We've decided to bring you into the states to take seminars regarding our partnered business." Spence's Dad said with a smile.

We all showed our frustrations and anger. It was summer, our free time.

"How months Dad?" Spence asked his dad.

"Just a month, don't worry." The mother of Spence answered this time.

"We trust you guys, that's why you'll go there together. The four of you won't be separated from one another," Luke's dad proudly said.

"But dad, we should rest and enjoy ourselves. School gives us so much stress." Luke nagged like a crybaby.

"It's for your own good, we need you to train now." This time Alex's dad answered, the rest were already upstairs inside my room.

"So when the time comes we won't be that worried, you can handle yourselves without us." According to Luke's mom.

"Just a month, okay? We love you guys." Alex's mom insistingly said.

We four just gave a long and heavy sigh, there's nothing we can do but face it.

After 1 month in the US, finally, we're back in our tropical home country. The seminars and symposiums were a literal nightmare, everything was English, a lot of memorization, and a bunch of other stuff, yet I and my friends survived and made it.

The next year, the same thing happened and was really unexpected. Higher business and more head-cracking training were what we went through and that took 2 months.

What do we know deeply with regard to that? We have merely finished 9th grade. Thankfully, we had the basics.

Not to brag, but I guess it's safe to say that our knowledge with regard to business is above average already at this age, and our parents can trust us now.

"I'm the Student Council President, so I guess I'll cancel classes for this day? Haha." I joked.

"You know what's the consequence bro haha," Alex said with a warning. Of course, I know, I was just joking, right?

"That's not Raven dude, let's cleanse him from this good spirit who is possessing him right now." After Spence said this sentence, he stood up and acted like an exorcist, making gestures around me that made the four of us laugh,

"I think we should go now." I told them upon seeing that there were only a few students scattered around the campus. We have also already spent some time here. I guess there's a need for us to go back to our class.

"The real Raven is back, haha." Spence.

"You guys go first, I'll just stroll for more time." I pushed them away. They really get annoying sometimes. I want to walk alone for now.

"Yes, Mr. Cold." Luke said, which made me glare at him and he sprinted out.

"I'm Mr. Hot, I'm not cold." The two just ignored my correction and walked away, rude.

When I'm all by myself again, I noticed there were no students walking around the school now. Maybe classes have already started.

The scenario gave me joy walking around until I saw four girls. They were goofing around loudly, not minding the possibility of being caught by the Student Council at this time.

When I closed the gap between us, I immediately grabbed their attention. "Excuse me," I stated.

"Rave?" One girl asked, raising her eyebrows.

"Cousin?" I frowned, questioning back.

"Is he your cousin? Woah." The other girl asked, who seemed pretty flirty to me.

"I'm sorry couz, let's go to our classroom girls." She panicked and told her friends, which made me at ease.

"You go, guys, I'll just stay, I don't have the energy to attend the class." The girl with the glasses told them.

"You really don't know him, huh? Haha, good luck Lannah." The last girl who seemed nice said and the three of them left the scene.

"Who are you?" The girl they called Lannah exclaimed, is she challenging me, huh?

"I'm Raven Randall Davion, you really don't know me, huh? Well, it's fine, you are fresh faces along with my cousin and your two other peers." I said calmly.

"Well, nice to meet you, mister, I don't care and can you please get out of my sight? I'm tired." She said, annoyed.

This girl is really boiling my temper, huh? Girl, you will not like it if I'm mad.

"You really have the guts to argue with me, huh?" I angrily asked her this time.

"Yes I am, I don't fear anyone, especially you, you are also just a student like me, right?" She confidently said to me.

"Come with me to the Student Council Office, and face your punishment. You just broke 3 rules right now." I told her with a fierce look.

There's nothing this argument will lead to either of us, so it's better to bring her to the office and settle this instantly.

"Why the hell would you bring me to the office? I haven't done anything wrong. The 1st day of classes means no class classes, just boring orientations. Maybe you have an offense? Be a man and face it by yourself." She answered like a boss and with power, damn this chick is getting on my nerves.

"Tsk short-tempered, fine mister, I'll just leave, I lost my interest in getting some rest because of some grumpy guy who came out of nowhere." She followed up then stood up and walked away.

I clenched my fist in anger, just calm down Rave, she is just a woman, don't hit her.

I went straight to my class. I was 30 minutes late, damn that girl. This is the first time that I'm late.

When I entered the classroom, the noise welcomed me, everything became quiet when I entered the room, obviously.

Our first subject teacher is not here today, God! I forgot that the teachers now have an orientation to tss.

I was staring at the woman with the glasses who was staring at me. I also fought back, we both had a staring contest.

"Hey bro, why did you just come now?" Spence asked me, which I ignored and was still staring at Lannah.

"What did you do?" Luke asked, after which I also ignored him.

"Hey, can you hear them?" Alex asked me with irritation,

I gave Lannah a nasty look before turning to look at my friends. That girl just squinted angrily back at me.

"I'm just thinking." My excuse.

I don't want them to think that I was defeated by just one woman, even in a simple situation.

The three just nodded and got ready when the teacher arrived.

"Good morning class, sorry I'm late. We had our orientation na alam kong alam niyo naman." Sir smiled when he said that.

"I'm Mr. Leonardo Gomez, your Math Teacher for the whole school year, I see we have some transfers. Please introduce yourselves, ladies." He gave way to the ladies.

"Mary Alexandra D. Macintyre, 16." She bowed at the same time as she spoke sparingly. That's my cousin.

"Briannica Chastity P. Galvez, 16, nice to meet you, everyone." At the same time, she flipped her hair, the one that looked flirtatious earlier.

"Daphne Phenelope H. Nickolson, also 16, I hope we can be friends." At the same time she smiled, I also smiled because there was a trace of kindness on her face.

"Abrielle Alannah V. Schwarzenegger, 15 years of existence here on Earth." She replied flatly, she caught me staring at her and raised an eyebrow at me, tsk sss.

"Okay so let's start, you may now take your seats." Sir's introduction.

It was late afternoon and our last subject was over. The four of us left and went straight to the parking lot.

We just waited silently, the scums were also tired.

We heard a laugh and turned around to see the four girls coming towards us, which instantly shifted my mood to annoyance.

"Mary?!" The three said in shock. Mary answered them with a smile.

They were just talking the entire time, while I was silent, and Lannah didn't say anything, deep in thought.

Sooner after their drivers came to pick them up, they also said their goodbyes, until only the two of us were left.

"Who are you really?" I was surprised when she suddenly spoke.

"I told you I'm Raven." I answered coldly.

Her face brightened up when her pick-up arrived.

"See you tomorrow mister hot-headed." She said with a smile before entering her car and waving goodbye.

I don't know why I smiled too. I'm sure World War III will happen when I'm with that girl.

I saw something strange from a distance. This man was smiling, he was wearing a hood, jacket and pants so I couldn't recognize him, the smile on his mouth widened when our eyes met and suddenly he disappeared.

Weird. My pickup has also arrived.
