Chapter 3 : "The Devil".

Astro's Point Of View

I woke up just to see a brown ceiling, I immediately sat down and gasped for air.

Where i am..? The last thing i remember I was drowning. I roam my eyes at the place, I was in a dark room with only a window serving as a light.

I was occupied by my thoughts when someone open the door.

"Oooh? So you're finally awake, Young lady?"A man said i think he's on his mid 50's, I looked at him.

"Don't look at me like that! I'm not gonna do anything to you— actually i was the one who saw you floating at the sea"He said, I blinked at him.

"By the way, I'm Fredo River! Just call me Fred"He said, His brows arche.

"Can't you speak?"He said, I shooked my head and cleared my throat.

"I'm Astro Sawyer, Thank you for saving me.. By the way... where i am?"I asked, He sat down at the bed and gave me a bread.

I immediately accept it and ate it, I'm starving! He let me eat first, after i finished eating he gave me a cup of water, he chuckled.

"Is that how a duke's daughter eat?"He ask jokingly, My eyes widen.

"Pardon me for my rudne-"He cut me off, then he chuckle again.

"I'm just kidding, and You're on a pirate ship"He said, I look at him with my eyes widen.

"Pardon? Did i heard it right?"i asked.

"Yes! You heard it right, Young lady"He said, I was about to say something when the door opened.

"Red, Captain davey wants to see her"The person on the door said, he looks young. Fred nod his head.

"Captain Davey?"I asked.

"Yes, He's the captain of this ship and he wants to see you"he said, I gulped.

"Why does he want to see me?"i asked, he shrugged his shoulder.

"I don't know the reason either, But all I can say is don't make him angry"He said, he gestures me to follow him so i did. We left the room, I roam my eyes at the ship and I can't help but to feel amaze! This is the first time that i aboard a ship! We are on the kitchen and there are many pirates here too, they all look at me and smirked.. I couldn't help but to feel nervous, it's like it's their first time seeing a woman, geez.

I just lower my head and decide to ignore their presence until we got out of the kitchen.

My eyes sparkle when i saw the hem of the ship.

I was about to touch it when someone slapped my hand— I saw a man on his 50's too, he look at me and held my chin. I immediately slapped his hand and glared at him, he just smirked.

"Why did you let that women in our ship, captain? You know that it's a bad luck to let a women on the ship right?"The boy who called fred earlier said.

"I know but we need her! She's the daughter of the duke! We can ask for ransom from her parents"The guy who slapped my hand earlier said.. so he's captain davey, huh?

"My name is Davey Jones.You can call me Captain Davey, It's a pleasure to meet ye"He said with a smug face.

"Anyway, bring her to the storage room. Don't do anything bad to her! We need her!"Captain Davey said, The guy who called fred earlier nod his head and smirked at me, they really like to smirk, eh?

The man who called fred earlier pushed me into the ship's kitchen, I didn't even bother to fight back when he took me to the storage room.

He was about to closed the door of the storage room when I spoke.

"Hey you, what's your name?" I asked.

"Why'd you ask?"He said with a puzzeled look, i shrugged my shoulder.

"No reason"i replied, this time he was the one who shrugged his shoulder.

"Damian" he said and walked away, I roam my eyes at the storage room, There are barrels here and boxes and I also noticed two men, they both look at me.

"Who are you?"They ask.

"Uh- I'm Astro"I replied.

"Why are you here?"They ask, i bit my lower lip.

If i will tell the the truth they might kidn*pped me too and ask ransom from my parents!

"I-I... I tried to rob their ship"I said, they both nod their head.

"How about you guys?"I ask.

"I'm ace and this is my little brother, shan! Same reason"Ace said.

I sighed and sat down on one of the barrels, I guess I have to stay here? How should I escape—

I stop at my thoughts when I heard an explosion, I looked out the small window, I saw a pirate ship.

"What is it?"They both asked.

"It's a pirate ship" I answered, I was surprised when Ace hand me a telescope.

"Where did you get this?"i asked, Ace shrugged his shoulders.

"One of the barrels"Ace said, I just shrugged my shoulder and look at the pirate ship using the telescope that ace gave me.

I look at the pirate flag, It's a skull with a demon horns.

"What is their pirate flag look like?"Shan asked.

"It's a skull with a demon horns"I said, Both of their eyes widen.

"That's the pirate flag of the Empress of the sea!"Ace said with a smile.

"Empress of the sea?"I asked, they both look at me .

"You never heard of her?"they asked in confusion, I nodded my head.

"Cleopatra VI or Captain VI is the Empress of the sea, I never met her but i heard stories! When she fights she's like a demon! She doesn't let any survivors"Shan said amazed.

"No survivors?"I asked, they both nodded their head before answering.

"No survivors."

I smirked.

"Then, i wonder. Where does stories came from?"i said and left them confused, i look at the pirate ship using the telescope they gave me.
